- Compressor increases the temperature.
- Hot vapour is condensed in heat exchanger.
- Rejected heat is passed onto heating system.
- Liquid refrigerant passes through the expansion valve.
- Heat pump starts the cycle again.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Air to Water Heating
- Air passes the heat exchanger and refrigerant absorbs heat from the outside air.
- The vapour passes into the compressor and the compression increases the temperature.
- Hot vapour is condensed in the second heat exchanger, rejected heat is passed onto heating/hot water system.
- The liquid refrigerant passes back through the expansion valve ready to start the cycle again.
