New SEAI Grants Available for Commercial Solar PV
Finally, the SEAI are providing grant support of up to €2,400 for solar PV installations for your company, farm, college, community centre, or other non-profit organisation.
About the Solar PV Grant
The Non-Domestic Microgen Grant (NDMG) gives financial assistance to aid organisations as well as other markets to install solar PV panels to create power on-site. This technology lowers commercial power costs as well as raising the safety and security of the electricity supply, all the while encouraging companies to opt for a greener way to power their business.
Grants are available for Solar PV installations up to 6kWp. A system of this size has the potential to save between €2,000 – €3000 per year, and with the current spiral in energy costs and the feed-in tariff finally up and running, these savings figures are likely to increase over the next few years.
The grant available is based on the overall output of your solar PV installation. Installations of up to 6kWp can be grant funded with this plan.
The maximum grant offering is €2,400 and this is readily available for systems from 4kWp to a maximum of 6kWp. The amount available does decrease for systems below 4kWp. Check out what is available below

Why Choose NRG Panel for Your Installer
All of this grant paperwork and ESB jargon may sound daunting. That’s why here at NRG Panel we have a dedicated grant coordinator who will assist you with the entire process and paperwork. More good news is that we actually wait on the grant payment from the SEAI so you don’t have to, once we find out that you are eligible, we deduct the grant amount from your initial payment. This means you have a lesser initial outlay and you don’t need to wait on the SEAI payments, sounds like a win win to us !!
