It was an honour to be involved in the launch of the StoreNet energy Project in association with Electric Ireland.
The StoreNet project is part of the ESB Dingle Project which will see the company deploy a range of technologies. This will future proof the electricity network for the benefit of the homes, farms and businesses.
As part of StoreNet, a total of 20 properties in the Ballferriter area will be fitted with state of the art battery storage systems along with data monitoring equipment and customer app. Battery storage systems combined with management of onsite power consumption will result in lower electricity bills for the homeowner.
The findings from the project will in turn help ESB Networks deliver electricity network to facilitate Irelands transition to a low carbon future.
The project aims to reduce energy costs for residents, relieve pressure on the grid during peak times and contribute to our transition to a sustainable energy future.
